"This was a good property to base our visit in Amboise. The property was pretty with a beautiful garden. Unfortunately we could not enjoy that enough since it was rainy and a little cold. Staff was excellent, and we got a good but pricey breakfast every morning. The main negative was that the picture of the room was not representative of what we got. It showed a large room with a sofa but our room barely was enough space for us to move around in."

"We stayed a week here and thoroughly enjoyed it. It's a short walk to the main streets of Amboise but in a quiet location. The lounge is a beautiful place to have a drink before dinner and the fireplace was running the first night we were there. Our room (5) was huge and very pretty two bedrooms, a day bed, two bathrooms, but both bathrooms were in the smaller bedroom (and only one had a toilet). Not sure that would work for two couples traveling together but probably fine for a family with...

"This is a delightful property and the owners are personable and helpful. There is private off street parking. The location was excellent for walking the city. The continental breakfast was simple, but very nice. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable and quiet. We throughly enjoyed our stay and would stay again. "

"We greatly enjoyed our time in Amboise and staying at the Chateau de Pray. The staff is excellent, very friendly and helpful. Laura is a treasure! The property is everything you imagine it will be taking you back to the time of kings and queens. But yet, modernized enough for the comfort that we all want in today's times.
