Staff is great

Staff at the desk very kind, perfect locatio, just in front of the station and 10 minutes walking from the historical center.

This is such a lovely spot. The location is convenient to food and attractions and the manager is incredibly nice and helpful. Comfortable bed, hot shower, nice garden though it stormed when I was there so I didn’t really use it. Would definitely visit Ferrara and stay at this locanda again.

Thank you

Rooms are beautiful and comfortable.

This pleasant hotel occupies a former schoolhouse (hence the name), but it's thoroughly modern inside. Located in the countryside on the outskirts of Bologna. Good for those traveling by car, but you may need GPS to find it.

This hotel stands out from all the others I've stayed at. Its six rooms beautifully merge medieval character with modern style. If you visit Northern Italy, I strongly recommend it. The owner provides a personal welcome, and the property boasts lovely fruit trees and vines. The individually tailored breakfast is outstanding. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay!

Altamente raccomandato! 👏👏👏👏👏 A great location, only a few minutes walk to Palazzo dei Diamanti, and not tharlt far from Castello Estense di Ferrara . Beautifully decorated with real art, it's very quiet and our room ("the Warhol") has a...

Beautiful design luxury property, stilish and very confortable. Perfect service and amazing breakfast

Excellent hotel and well located for business!!!

Found Principessa Pio on an Internet search of places in Ferrara. The photos looked great, but they frequently do, while the places often fail to live up to them. Not so in this case. The Pio has just a few rooms along with a restaurant in a recently renovated barn. The fit and finish are of a very high order with a minimal aesthetic throughout. Our room was spacious and relatively inexpensive. The restaurant is quite good and reasonable, and draws a number of people each evening. It is about a...

Always a wonderful place to stay, work, pleasure and summer break.

Great clean hotel. A little further away from downtown Bologna than we thought. But only an easy 20 minute walk to central Bologna.

amazing

It was a great experience, the staff eere helpful and professional and the breakfast was fantastic. Thank you!!

Staff, room, facilities, restaurant, all 5's. Plus free parking, only 10 minutes to airport, and it's immediately off hiway to Firenze. 20 euro taxi to centro. Oh, yeah, the price is right.
