"Lovely location. Has an air of Fawlty Towers about it from the outside. The experience is far from it and the welcome and team were wonderfully welcoming. Room was a little traditional in a slightly tired way but otherwise comfortable. I shall stay again and would recommend it. "

It had a fridge and air conditioner (which many Ireland hotels don't have), and full kitchenette. We wish we could have stayed long enough to enjoy the hotel more. Feedback...when we first pulled off road into driveway...we could not see any signage that indicated where the front of the hotel was, along with the check-in desk. Instead...we went into first parking lot...

"We stayed at The Lakeside Hotel & Leisure Centre for one night after arriving in Ireland, and it was a perfect start to our trip. The staff were warm and welcoming, and the property itself is beautiful. It's set on lovely, quiet grounds with a fantastic view of the River Shannon from our room.
