Pool was cooler than we prefer and was located in a shaded area in the middle of the building. "The most beautiful place we've ever stayed! Breathtaking view! And the hosts have been SO helpful and service minded all the way through!!! The room, the jacuzzi, the food, even the driver who picked us up at the airport - EVERYTHING was nothing less than perfect!!! We would LOVE to come back again and will certainly do so when we save up money again. We can only highly recommend this for anyone!!!"

"Property should be 3 star at best. Fake orange juice and cheap products for breakfast think they are dying as a hotel and trying to cut corners. No lifts. In need of a major refurbishment everything to old and a little run down. I can see it might have warranted a 4 star 10 years ago but by todays standards its not up to the quality of a 4 star or of 4 star service. Leaky bum guns. Lights that do not work. Old aircon systems. Bed was clean but linen marked."

"My partner and I had a wonderful stay at the golden pine resort , the room was clean and spacious, the breakfast was very tasty and much food to choose from , the swimming pool was large and clean for a relaxing swim after a day of sight seeing , the staff were very helpful and kind people , The resort is just out of the city with rice farming around and views of the mountains , it was nice and quiet at this resort .
