"Staff was incredible but the rest of the stay just felt like one issue after another. Terrible availability for parking for $25-$28/night (HH app said $25) because guests were double and triple parked. We got in really late and the first room we were put in was disgusting and looked like the only things that were cleaned was the bedding and towels. Both rooms had really terrible water pressure. Room service charged $5 for delivery and $4 for a tray charge which was not mentioned anywhere besides the receipt. Overall the stay was just ok because the staff did a great job of responding to issues with urgency but again just felt like there was one problem after another. I will be back to SD but not to this hotel and I’ve stayed at many Hilton hotels across all of their brands. This was by far the most disappointing quality. "

"The room was really comfortable, in the perfect location, and with easy to access/secure parking. The pool area was clean and safe, and everyone was very friendly. "

"Very disappointing experience at the Sheraton San Diego Resort. I booked a Marina Tower room specifically for the view and location, but at check in I was placed in the Lanai Tower and told it was an “upgrade.” It absolutely was not. The room had no view and was far from where we parked. The staff discouraged me from switching rooms and told me the hotel was fully committed for the night, which made it seem like the Marina Tower rooms were oversold. After parking, we had to load our luggage onto a bell cart and drag it across the property while managing two kids, one of them a toddler. It took a long time to even find the building and room. They eventually moved us to another room, but our bill included extra charges that had to be corrected later, including an extra person fee and another room charge that should not have been there. While those were eventually removed, guests should not have to carefully review their bill to avoid being overcharged."

"The view was fantastic. Room had black mold above the bathroom light that had been broken and not fixed before our stay. Staff offered upgrade for our honeymoon then mentioned it was an upcharge. The ice machine outside our room was broken and I could hear it malfunctioning all night. There was a teamsters union party that was screaming and partying all night for the first three nights we were there. Hidden fees were almost double the cost of the stay. Called hotel and emailed and only got through and was met by very rude customer service staff who offered one free night and gave the money back for the upgrade. So, we do everything we could to be out of the hotel room. Wouldn’t stay there again. "
