"Stunning hotel with an amazing location. Only slight downside is the small interaction we had with the hotel staff was blunt and bordering on rude. The spa was also closed but this was not communicated at check in. May seem harsh on the review, as the stay otherwise was fantastic. Maybe the staff had a bad day, and the 3 minutes I spent with him was completely against the norm. "

"We stayed here with our daughters family also to attend a wedding near by. Our experience was wonderful. The rooms are very nice and spacious, the dining experience superb. The rooms do not have air conditioning and we need it cool to sleep well but the open windows and fan were enough to be comfortable. "

"Wir haben ein verlängertes Wochenende in Bad Harzburg verbracht und waren sowohl vom Hotel als auch von der Kurstadt selbst positiv überrascht. Einzig schade war, dass das Hotelrestaurant und die Hotelbar abends geschlossen war. Dafür haben wir aber ein super Frühstück genossen und mit dem Glas Sekt am Morgen angestoßen. Lieben Dank auch nochmal an unseren tollen Kellner. Wir können es nur empfehlen!"

The location in the Harz Mountains is serene, but also full of possibilities for hiking, biking, and quick travel to picturesque towns. Det ville dog have været rart hvis vi fra Hotels.com var blevet informeret om at vi ikke kunne køre til hotellet, men skulle parkere nede i byen og så med svævebanen op som kører sidste gang klokken 18 hver aften, alternativt til den er en gåtur på en time op ad bjerget. Vi lå og kørte rundt i skoven, hvor man ikke må køre, i en time inden nogle vandrere informerede os om at man ikke kan køre til den adresse der står på Hotels.com Ellers var det et dejligt...
