Shopping center is close by. In general, it is a great stay. The only drawback is the design of the shower stall. Bathroom would be all wet after shower. We were on 2nd floor across from bar. I would recommend top floor on opposite side if you want to get any sleep "

Hotels.com advertises this but there is no clear information that there is an additional charge. One reason we chose the hotel was the spa/pool but to pay nearly £50 for two people to use this is extortionate. "

"We had a good stay at the Vulkan although the room was looking a little “tired” round the edges. For a hotel that would be used by a lot of tourists, they had a strangely early breakfast time during the week - finishing at 0930! Location is excellent however with easy walking distance to Grunerlokka for great bars/restaurants and even into Oslo city centre along the Akerselva river."

"I love the area around the Clarion Hotel Savoy, but it is an aging property, and my room was not properly equipped when I arrived. While I had bath and hand towels, there was no bath mat. Even though the room is small, there was room for a hot water heater and mugs for drinking tea or coffee. Nor any tea or coffee provided guests. There was just a single glass.
