"Had a three night stay with my wife for her birthday. Wonderful hotel with the best views anywhere. Staff very pleasant and helpful breakfast included is continental which we found more than adequate. We had dinner there on two of the nights añd enjoyed what we had although the menu is slightly limited for more frequent dining. Overall we had a beautiful stay"

"View was stunning, catch of the day was amazing, manager was top notch and did everything she could to resolve any issues. Room was lovely, unfortunately balcony was in need of TLC, however it is due to be renovated we understand. Room was very hot and as it is set back there is little breeze, would definitely recommend having fans available with all this hot weather."

"The cobblestone parking was slightly challenging, and we weren’t expecting to be in a separate building from the inn, but the room was very comfortable and the large window had a great view which brightened up the space. "I don't think I've ever been made to feel so unwelcome at a hotel or B'n'B. We were using public transport. We were dropped off by taxi at 10am. Obviously we weren't expecting to check in but I've never stayed anywhere where luggage storage isn't available. The owner's immediate reaction was to tell us we check in isn't until 2. She did allow us to leave the luggage but I was taken aback at the unwelcoming attitude. We came back at 2. Owner complained that she had no details about the booking....

"the day before i emailed and asked to confirm if the electric car charger was working, told response would be 24 hours, no reply. got to the hotel and looked very dated, then i was told one out of the two rooms was not ready as the was busy with a wedding the day before, so went to one room and paint falling off the ceiling, very dated and floor boards squeaked and rocked. went back to the receptions and asked if i could cancel our rooms and get a full refund, i was told the manager would not...

Our room was lovely, very well equipped, and had a beautiful view, which made our stay even more enjoyable. "We booked this accommodation as the reviews were very positive! But just a few days prior to our holiday we saw a review that said this property was sold and presently empty! Contacted the owner email/phone, no response. Contacted Expedia, finally got through to talk to a representative..but just said they would contact us 24hrs prior if the booking was cancelled!
