"Excellent location as well as top tier hotel"

"We stayed at this hotel in order to visit the National Museum which is nearby. It is also close to Queen Street station. We enjoyed the overall ambience of the hotel and particularly liked the restaurant and the roof top bar. The staff of the restaurant/bar provided excellent service at dinner and breakfast. The range of choices available for breakfast was excellent. Our stay coincided with the heatwave but the room was air conditioned and cool."

"Beautiful surroundings with an outside terrace overlooking a small lake, quiet. Staff very courteous and helpful. Grounds could do with a bit of tidying, cigarette stubs everywhere. Sink in bathroom problematic for shorter people, needed to stretch over the counter to use it, tap also very stiff to use and leaking. Enjoyed our stay very much and would stay there again."

"Staff were amazing, we stayed during a heatwave and they were helpful with ice from the bar. Other instances such as needing forks, hangers in our room and new towels were treated with the same professionalism ! The rooms do need a bit of updating but for what it was the price is exstremely reasonable. The room was very clean when we arrived. "The blinds were the opposite to blackout, allowing light into the room even at the darkest hours, by 4-5am you might as well have a light on. The AC control panel was temperamental and the unit itself was too loud to sleep through - otherwise it was very cool. The bathroom was spacious and clean but the toilet took multiple flushes after any use - awkward when sharing the room"

"Stayed here for Take That show, short walk to town for pre drinks and then onto Stadium. Less than 1km walk back after show with the masses. Room clean, quiet and had everything required. Lovely full Welsh breakfast in morning and chatted to some of TT cast members also staying at Majestic Hotel! Only small gripe, could not book hotel parking in advance?!? So had to book elsewhere 15 min walk away. Would be great if we could sort that out???"
