"Beautiful location for this really special place to stay. We had two night here. Although we didn’t have great weather, it hardly altered as the hotel has lots of cosy places to sit and look out on the truly stunning gardens. The staff were incredibly friendly and kind. Thank you to whoever found my husbands watch and called us so we were not too far away to come back for it! Another highlight is the hotel’s own soap products which smell amazing and are available to buy. Sadly they had run out...

"We were made very welcome with a lovely 'welcome basket' of local and home made goodies. There was even some home made soup waiting for us. We stayed in Badgers Cottage which was beautiful and perfect for us. The country house and surroundings are in beautiful surroundings. Only the weather was disappointing - everything else was superb."
