"The room was spacious and I loved the cooking facilities (modern and well equipped). Staff were very helpful and friendly. Sadly, I did notice that some of the other guests weren’t polite to them. I recommend bringing your manners to Edinburgh and you will receive a great Scottish welcome. I was visiting Edinburgh University and this location is exactly what I wanted - right in the heart of the University. It was close to the tourist sites with the benefits of not being surrounded by tourists. Bed and pillows were very comfy, too. Shower was hot. Breakfast was more than I expected but I don’t eat much for breakfast. Shops, restaurants and transport is all close by. I would stay here again. "
