But We had issues with how it was presented on expedia, it is advertised as a resort, but when we got there, they put us in what they called as a holiday home. No towels/ toiletries were provided, we had to find a store to buy some toiletries. we had to clean the room and take out trash before we left. "Had a wonderful stay at the Lodge. It is a beautiful building and the views are amazing. I really enjoyed hearing the cowbell’s ring right from our room. The rooms are very nice. The beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are big. Everything is new and modern. The bar service was excellent. We enjoyed our cocktails with an amazing view. I would recommend eating at a different restaurant as the service and food there was lacking. Our server was quite rude and impersonal, that’s all I will say. The hike was spectacular and overall Stoos lodge was outstanding. "

Perfekter Familienaufenthalt in Engelberg

"Wir haben mit unserer kleinen Familie (inkl. Baby) ein paar wunderbare Tage im Hotel in Engelberg verbracht und waren rundum zufrieden. Das Zimmer war sauber, gemütlich und perfekt auch mit Baby ausgestattet. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir das freundliche und aufmerksame Personal – man hat sich jederzeit willkommen gefühlt. Auch das Frühstück war sehr lecker und abwechslungsreich – es wurde sogar auf unsere Wünsche mit Baby Rücksicht genommen. Insgesamt eine tolle Erfahrung, die wir gerne weiterempfehlen!"

The beds at Stoos are better your one at hone

"The room was remodeled, and the hotel management took great care in selecting the furniture! I have a rather nice bed at home, but this new bed in the ski lodge was the best bed I have ever slept on! Just glorious night of sleep… and the resultant manger was spot on… his staff was flawless and kind, the food was flavorful and delightful."
