"We were visiting our foreign exchange daughter and her family. The hotel was lovely. Our room over-looked the river. It was spacious and comfortable. American-sized shower! The breakfast buffet was amazing. We loved the location, which was walking distance to everything. The pub "Bishop's Arms" was perfect for unwinding after a long day. We would certainly stay there again."

"We very much enjoyed our stay at Starby Hotel. Our room was clean and quiet, the staff were very friendly, helpful and professional and the food ( we only ate breakfast there) was very good. The back garden area is beautiful and a lovely place to sit and have breakfast or a cocktail. It is worth noting that the accommodations are much more of a "motel" than a "hotel" and the rooms have the feel of a motel with a bit of paint and polish applied. "Villa Milsten is a special place in every way. From the moment we stepped across the driveway we were enamoured; the beautiful apple trees in the garden, the charming and historic outbuilding, beautiful decor, soft music, relaxing smells, special touches and amazing hospitality. The owners have clearly put a lot of love into the restoration of this beautiful property, built in 1913.
