"Central hotel in the Old Town with easy walking access to rest of town . Room was small but bed was large . Only downside i could comment on was that there was no in room fridge , but maybe difficult to find space to put one , but all in all a very pleasant stay at a good hotel at a competitive price ."

Lucky that we stayed at the same level of reception, I can’t imagine if we need to take the luggages to upstairs. "

"We stayed at Hotel Podhrad to celebrate our anniversary. The hotel is on th the expensive side, but in line with the surrounding options. The parking areas available are scattered around, so be prepared to walk a bit in case the adjacent parking spots are taken. The included breakfast was okay, but a bit lacking compared to other hotels we've been to in the Czech Republic. The rooms are okay in general: - There is no air conditioning. - The water temperature in the shower seems to fluctuate and...

"We stayed here for a wedding at The State Chateau of Hluboka. The room was spacious, breakfast was good (basic), and the grounds were lovely to walk around. The big negative we experienced was when ordering a taxi at reception to the train station, they had said they ordered a taxi and an older lady turned up in her personal car which was not a metered taxi. We got ripped off and had to dip into the cash reserves as didn’t have the energy or time to argue, it was very disappointing the hotel...

"The hotel was clean and everyone was freindly, however we were a group of 3 and only 2 blanket’s and 2 pillows was ready in the room, we had to ask for these items. Ask for extra pillows but did not provide"
