The hidden gem of Dordogne! I’m not sure where to start - the incredible hospitality, the beautiful surroundings, or the fantastic accommodations. Breakfast was sumptuous - Martine is quite the cook and many ingredients are sourced from the grounds. Whether you want to stay for a couple of nights or a week or more, there is plenty to see and do, and then you can go back and enjoy the comfort of Domaine du Pouzelaine.

An authentic French countryside experience. Not the Ritz but incredibly comfortable and special. If you are okay with a few economies - older towels, for example - you will enjoy your stay. The property is beautiful and special, the staff could not be kinder, the food in the restaurant is traditional French-chic, the breakfast is massive. I would go back in a minute. Beautiful setting, impeccably designed room and bath with no comfort detail lacking. Bucolic scene from the swimming pool adds to the overall relaxing atmosphere as one’s access to the owners’ library. Food was delicious. I can not recommend more highly.

The parking lot is very convenient. We need wheelchair access and it was very good here. Staff are always around and helpful. It is also very convenient so we were able to walk to restaurants and many attractions in the area.

Our stay was excellent. Alexander met us when we drove in and showed us around the property. Our room was roomy and nicely furnished. The bathroom was large. Eveything looked quite new. The breakfast was out of this world. For us the location was excellent for our visit to the National Museum of Prehistory.
