"The parking is convenient. I like the design of the Lobby and the room. Especially the TV is big and easy to see the movies and shows. There was a lady at the front desk who was nice and cute~ I would like to come back to this hotel for my next trip."

"We have stayed at this hotel a couple of times before. It’s in a great spot kind of tucked away from the hustle and bustle in the beautiful old building. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Great lobby area too."

"WONDERFUL staff and LUXURIOUS accommodations make The Benson a MUST stay in downtown Portland. Palm Court Restaurant & Bar was a favorite for its food and friendly service. Despite not having bell service available (still scratching my head on that one), The Benson's sheer beauty and accommodating staff certainly make up for that lack of service. The location, while convenient, does provide cause for pause as there is boarded up property, graffiti, and some homeless nearby."

"Very clean and updated room. Elevator needed room key to operate. Loved that there was a bar and a restaurant on site. It was downtown, which we wanted, so some homeless people around but did not interfere with our trip"

"The staff were incredible friendly and welcoming from the minute we pulled up to valet, every time we went through the lobby it felt like staying with a friend. I cannot express how kind and welcoming they were. They seemed genuinely happy to be here and made us feel the same. The hotel is beautiful, quirky and well kept the rooms are huge and comfortable. This is my absolute favorite place in Portland. "

"The art was fun, although im not a fan of concrete ceilings. The staff was great and there are a lot of goos places to eat withing an easy walk. I will say the bathrooms could use some counterspace for clothing and other essentials, but the rooms were clean and the bed comfortable. "
