"It was the best hotel I have ever stayed. Very luxurious and the staff all around were very courteous, helpful and very friendly. It was great that the cleaning staff comes by in the evening to ask if anything is needed. The wait staff that serves the complimentary breakfast is very helpful as well. The hotel is quite historic and had a lot of charm and beautiful artwork. "

"This is a beautiful hotel overlooking Lake Garda in the delightful resort of Salò. We had a deluxe room with a balcony and views of the marina outside. The decor is lovely and the rooms have everything needed for a perfect stay. The buffet breakfast is very good. I just wish 4* hotels in Italy such as this one would serve fresh orange juice. Other than that minor detail, the hotel was first class in every way. "

"Fantastic service, great location, top class hotel, the spa was a lovely way to spend a couple of hours in the afternoon and I booked a massage which was lovely. We had a gift in our room as it was our 25th wedding anniversary. The room was beautifully done and bathroom huge. Everything was spotless with turn down every evening with little gifts and cards showing the weather. Everything little thing thought of including a leaving gift. We have stayed in many luxury hotels and this one is right...

"We knew this hotel from when we had stayed a year ago. Oh how low it has fallen! No service at the pool, no service at the bar, no air conditioner (despite being at 29 degrees ) We had booked two nights, but we chose to leave after the first one as it was just such a terrible experience. Will not come back again."
