"Not what it used to be !! We stayed at this place after having such a lovely experience previously. However, this stay was very disappointing. We opted for upsell to the 5 BR villa on check-in which looked lovely in the pictures, but were stuck with a villa that stunk of sewerage the whole time! "Tampah Hills was nothing we had ever experienced before. Our "room" (villa!) was extremely spacious, and our group of 8 never felt we were too close to each other. "If you’re looking for a place to stay at in Lombok that’s a true indulgence and focused on making you feel like a VIP, as well as closer to North Lombok, the waterfalls and of course easily accessible to the Gili Islands, the Oberoi is it! Amazing service and food! Everything was taken care of before I could even ask. I traveled solo and they were sure to make me feel so welcome and pampered. Their chef Ansel is just the best. Each and every single dish I had was just phenomenal. They even sent me a recipe for one when I told them it was heaven! The activities from the hotel were so good as well. Convenient and reasonably priced. I had four spa treatments and each left me in complete relaxation and just…light. The property is clean and well taken care of. Their tea time at 4:30 is a full on spread. They have cocktails at happy hour which are buy one get one….and so many other things just complimentary for their guests. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to go to Lombok. What you get for your money is incredible. "
