"Lovely hotel, albeit a bit tired in places. Staff were excellent and we'd recommend the hotel to any future guests."

"Family holiday for 9 nights - 2 adults 3 kids (9,16,17). Fantastic week, cannot fault the resort everything was pretty much perfect. All inclusive took out the concern about unexpected bills. Excellent food - even buffet was huge selection, very high quality, and varied themes every day. Never felt overly full even on a busy week, sunloungers could be found. Pool lovely. Youngest enjoyed the kids entertainment which he dipped in and out of. Lots of kayaks and boats to use. Cannot fault. And I...

"Simply a little piece of heaven. The setting is beautiful, the flora and fauna a joy to have the privilege to be a part of. The rooms are welcoming and the choice of restaurants and bars of a high standard. If you love golf this will provide an excellent challenge in a superb setting. What makes the place though is the team of staff, they could not be more welcoming, accomodating and friendly and the personalised concierge service such a bonus."

"Truly magical - enjoyed the food, the staff were helpful and friendly and activities complimentary and top drawer"

"Great, nice staff, this is the only strength of this hotel. Dining options are very poor and the prices not worth for the food quality - high prices for a mediocre food. The breakfast quality is mediocre. There are a lot of maintenance issues inside the room: i got several electrical problems (much of recharge sockets are out order) and this well documented by travellers, the rooms are pretty old and not well maintained. Buttom line: this is not 5 stars hotel, other 4 stars hotels much better...

"A luxury resort that delivers on expectation. Location is astounding and the food is excellent. Great activities too! Can be slow to get a golf buggy due to demand, otherwise an excellent stay"

"One of the best resort i never been around the world. Worth every dollar spent !"

"Excellent choice of stay to explore Port Louis :)"

"One of the beautiful place in mauritius is Sofitel resort."

"Just back from a very relaxing stay at the Sand Suites. All the staff went out of their way to be helpful from the most junior to the most senior. The food was very good. Our room was spacious and we had a beautiful view overlooking the pool area. We hope to return some time in the future and would definitely recommend it."

"Stayed here for our honeymoon and it was amazing. Hotel is very clean. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The restaurants were all amazing. Right by the beach which was really nice. Would definitely come again"

"Great location short cab or bus to flic en flac hotel staff all very pleasant and helpful. Well appointed room with ample water supplied and housekeeping twice daily. Restaurants and bars of good quality. Breakfast plentiful"

"Great staff, amazing sea view and wonderful Spa. Need a bit more housekeeping with rooms re Lizards, cats roaming in 1-2 places but rest was on point. Best holiday ever !"

"Excellent hotel, accommodations and service is top notch… this is definitely an ‘underrated’ gem!"

"On a quiet beach."

"Staff were extremely polite and helpful. Beautiful venue but a car rental really helps as it’s a little isolated. Great treatments at the spa. The grandchildren loved the kids club, Jamala ensured they had a great time under her careful supervision. We did find the food and drinks quite expensive but good quality."

"Great private villa"
