"Amazing stay, friendly and helpful staff. Our room had a beautiful sea view and the reception staff were always on hand to help. Special mention to Brice from the entertainment team for being so welcoming and ensuring we had fun everyday. Mercy from the buffet restaurant made our trip with her diligence and kindness. We feel like we made a friend for life and hope to meet her again. The snorkelling trip with the hotel watersports was a highlight of the trip. The entertainment in the evening was fun but lacked a bit of variety in terms of the music. Overall there was plenty to do on a hotel situated in a beautiful part of Mauritius,"
La Pirogue Mauritius

"We stayed in La Pirogue, Wolmer Mauritius as a family for 4 nights. Our stay was excellent and we found the resort exactly in the same condition as seen in the pictures. While there was a bit of confusion in the airport taxi pick up, but i wouldn't take away a single credit from this resort, its excellent amenities, courteous staff, and good food. The hospitality is top class, and the best part is that you can spend days in the resort with your family as they have so many things to do. La Pirogue made our vacation really memorable, and we would definitely stay if we returned to Mauritius again."

"We only had a short stay and didn’t get to use all the facilities to hand. The hotel is spotlessly clean. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. My only disappointment was that we were unable to use the adult only pool due to not booking in to the Nivarna area considering that the pool area was only 50% occupancy. I do think this policy needs to be reviewed."

"From the moment we arrived to the time we left we couldnt have been more happy. Never having spent time in an all inclusive resort before, we couldn't belive how relaxed we became. The staff were fantastic especially the restaurant staff, and the food choice we were able to feed the kids without complaints. The hotel is rough around the edges but nothing impacted on our time. We come to Mauritius every two years and all the family have said they would return to the outrigger. Would i recommend this hotel, if you want absolute luxury and staff standing over your every move, no. But if you want a relaxed, calm, friendly hotel, that offers great value, great staff, absolutely."

"The room was very clean, decent amenities including a bar service, coffee, tea. The Air conditioning worked perfectly. However the toilet bowl could be better sanitized with disinfectant, some towels were still damp but enough were provided including for the beach. The food was fair with a good breakfast buffet. Beach access and amenities were excellent. The staff were helpful but there were many trainees and few seasoned staff. Overall it was a very comfortable stay. The promised bottle of wine per night never materialized."

"A spectacular resort with very friendly staff great facilities and great food only one small adverse experience at the grill where a staff member was a very terse other than that everything was perfection. The golf courses are unbelievably good as anything you'll find anywhere!Ginja Resurant was amazing!"
