"Very unique hotel- it’s not a 5 star- but maybe in 1800s it was. I liked the quirkiness. Staff were very nice! Overall- great stay. Possibly communicate private functions. We chose this hotel because we wanted to dine on rooftop. Ooops- private function closed! "

"The Old Manse of Blair was fantastic! For starters, we missed our flight into Glasgow and had to drive in from Edinburgh. We contacted the host and he was willing to stay late, beyond regular check in hours, for us to arrive. We stayed in one of the outbuildings. It was beautiful and comfortable. Eat breakfast at the Manse. It was fresh and delicious. And honestly, those cows- they are so cute! I would definitely stay here again."

"Absolutely stunning room with so many nice touches to it. The host (David) was an absolute pro, made sure we had everything we needed and more - kinda funny too. Possibly the best place I’ve place I’ve stayed overnight. Oh and he makes an excellent breakfast."

"Beautiful location and grounds! The bar and restaurant are also lovely for views, service and quality of food. Hiwever, the rooms (loch-view room) are in need of modernisation with small cracked bathrooms, and more accurately, views of the dam rather than the loch from the room (loch views are available from the balcony though!) Although the spa is nice, it seemed that the thermal suite and steam room weren’t on while we were there. For the price (close to £500 per night) we expected better. "
