"As a family of 5 we had the best week at The Westin. Our rooms were connecting family rooms on the ground floor opposite the pool. The rooms were modern, very big and very clean. We ate most evenings in Minas buffet restaurant. The food was different each night and really really good! Kids food was also great. Service in the restaurant and the housekeeping were excellent. Pool areas are lovely. Only irritation was that you had to pay extra for use of the pool cabanas, which is frustrating if there are no shaded beds left especially with young children. The kids pool and the water park are absolutely brilliant for younger children. Overall fantastic hotel and would I definitely recommend. "

"On arrival I was upgraded which was a lovely gesture. The hotel, room and dining options were incredible. I’ve stayed many times in Dubai but not in this part of Dubai or this hotel, and I would definitely stay here again. The only negative, which is common in Dubai, was the building work going on adjacent to the hotel. Whilst it was not very noticeable from inside the room, it made the balcony unusable as the building work was 24/7 and the noise from the balcony was unbearable. If you are staying ask for a room away from the building site. "

"First time staying here last month. Hotel- layout and design is nice, very modern. Rooms- very nice and upto date, loved the theme and bathroom design, decent size, always cleaned and sheets changed Room view - selected balcony sea view and it was perfect! Food- opted for breakfast option and it didn’t disappointment plenty of options! Depending what time you go will depend on how busy it was and you might have to wait for a table but the wait time was around 10 mins. Staff- polite, friendly and welcoming Pool- a little small but with it being an infinity pool it was nice with a good view! Other service - NOT related to the hotel but no way reflect the hotel standard and service. Mentioning more so that people are aware nail salon 2nd floor (they just rent the space), overpriced, and the price does not reflect the quality of the work produced and the time taken (3hrs for acrylic nail set) plus. I had to go back 3 times within 72 hours due to the quality of nail glue used! Disappointment. Overall the hotel was great, perfect for families too! "
