"I had a wonderful stay at the St. Regis! The staff was super accommodating and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was great! The premises were clean and so was our room. "Excellent apartment for an adult family of 5. Very spacious for Japan. Mats on floor were comfortable and used couch as another bed. Doubles in a separate room were very comfortable. Double sink bathroom with separate shower/tub and toilet was very convenient for all of us. Great new space. "

"There is no better place to stay in Kyoto. The location is SUPERB. The hotel is the most magical place. If all of that was not enough, Yuriko at the the concierge desk provides the most exceptional level of service I have ever encountered. Stay there just for the concierge services. Cannot say enough good things about this property, the entire staff is fantastic, but without a doubt, Yuriko takes the cake!"

"The hot spring hot tub is the best part of the hotel! Overall hotel is fine- nothing special for the price but for the personal hot spring tub, which was amazing. Food was ok, service was as expected. It’s no where close to downtown Kyoto but so many amazing sights to see around the hotel. If you want quiet - this is the place. "

"Pro: walking distance from hotel to Namba shopping district, train stations, and convenience stores. Con: complicated check in process, property owner only provided room access code but not building access code. Building access code is provided via a phone call upon arrival; however, as a foreigner you don't have a phone, and there was no public phone around."
