"Stayed four nights at Mantra Samui and had a wonderful time. The room was very spacious and comfortable, and the facilities were fantastic - great gym, beautiful pool area, lovely restaurant, and a nice onsite spa. While we didn’t find it an overly social place (a lot of couples doing their own thing), it was definitely a great place to unwind, relax, and take in the view. I would definitely stay here again!"

We were "upgraded" to a superior king suite, and ended up at the very back of the resort, near the airport runway (Noisey!), FAR from the beach and across a busy road. Our intent was to book a room near the beach, not what we ended up with. "

"With one major caveat, we loved this property. Nice rooms, beautiful trees, and great facilities for kids. However, the beach is absolutely awful. Completely covered in seaweed and trash. Doesn't look anything like the official pictures. Smells like rotting fish, so it's not enjoyable to hang out in that area. For a beach resort, it's totally unacceptable. Really hope the hotel can work on this, because it's a lovely place otherwise!"
