"Our second stay at this gorgeous hotel in a great location. The pool area is great and the staff at the pool area were brilliant (Viktor is a star) as were the staff at breakfast that was gorgeous with a great variety of hot and cold and a la carte egg options. The Spa is lovely and spacious and we used it when the weather was poor. There’s a Sauna, Steam room, Hammam and shower with numerous options. There is also a large pool and jacuzzi. We did however have some challenges we wouldn’t expect in a 5 star hotel: We filled in pre-arrival preference form and asked for a standard mattress - we got a very hard foam mattress (a topper was added after the first painful poor nights sleep). The coffee crème in the fridge (2 tiny cartons) was replaced 3 days out of our seven days and we had to call room service for cream on each occasion that it wasn’t replaced. I did request milk for tea one day from room service and was asked for card details to pay for it..(I decided to give the milk and tea a miss) We were in room 310B in aqua and were woken up 4 mornings in a row at 6:45am by very noisy dustbin men bouncing very large metal bins below our balcony. After wake up calls 4 mornings in a row we requested a different room and we were given a nice room in Baia with marina views. I requested ice twice on the evening of my 60th birthday 30 mins apart and it never arrived. I did however receive a birthday cake that was left in the room that was very much appreciated. "

"The hotel itself was pleasant overall. The breakfast wasn't bad, though I expected something more luxurious from a 5-star hotel. Upon arrival, we requested an upgrade to a higher floor, which they granted. However, the next morning at 8:30 AM, there was construction noise. It wasn't terrible because we were just heading down for breakfast. On our way, we spoke to the receptionist who apologized, explained it was only for that day, and offered to move us back to our original room. We had planned to go out that day anyway, so we stayed in the upgraded room, but it would have been nice if the hotel had informed us about the noise in advance. Regardless, when we returned to the hotel around noon, a lovely fruit platter and an apology letter from the hotel for the noise were waiting for us in the room. Additionally, on the first night, the hot water ran out, and we had to wait about 15 minutes for it to heat up again. I've never experienced that in a hotel before. All in all, we received good service, good food, and nice rooms. Still, my expectation for a 5-star hotel was for it to be a bit more grand and polished. "

"Fantastic Stay – Highly Recommended! Rating: ★★★★★ We had an amazing holiday at this hotel. The place was beautiful, spotless, and located in a quiet, scenic area surrounded by mountains. The staff were outstanding—friendly, professional, and always greeted us with a smile. Their service was top-notch. The only downside was that our room’s hot tub was faulty. Maintenance kept coming in and out, which was disruptive. It would have been better if they’d moved us sooner. Eventually, we were given a new room with a working hot tub, which was lovely. One suggestion: add covered umbrellas over hot tubs for rainy days. We had to stay indoors for days because we couldn’t use it in the rain. Other than that, everything was perfect. Worth every penny! "
