Top Red Sea Coast Hotel Reviews

A beach resort with multiple sun loungers, umbrellas, and a wooden deck overlooking the sea.

ananea Hurghada – Adults Only

Dahar

10/10 Excellent

My wife and I loved the atmosphere, location, and staff. The atmosphere was serene and relaxed, exactly what is needed while on vacation. The location is perched atop a hill behind City Center— far enough away from the street where vehicle noise is not heard. The staff made us feel like we were the only two lodging there. Kitchen staff member Saad left a wonderful impression. I recommend the property if you value calmness and relaxation.

JAZ Costa Mares - Adults Only 16+

Marsa Alam

10/10 Excellent

When locals would tell me about Marsa Alam, they would always tell me how great of a diving location it is, however they would always lower my expectations when talking about places to stay. Iberotel certainly contradicts all that I’ve been told. The hotel design is chic & modern. The lobby is beautiful so are the grounds, pool and restaurants. The rooms are on the smaller side but your day will be spent outside. The hotel is located on a bay with a stunning coral reef that is swimming distance...

Kempinski Hotel Soma Bay

Soma Bay

10/10 Excellent

Very exceptional resort. It is the pearl of the Red Sea. Amazing food, views and staff. If you are planning to visit Hurghada; just go to Kempinski Soma Bay. It’s unimaginable to believe that you can be literally standing at the beach and small fish visibly play around your ankle from how clear the water is. Words won’t do Justice to this resort. It’s a heaven on earth. Definitely one of the best resorts on the shoreline of Hurghada.

AHMED

Amr

A poolside area with a covered seating area, a dining table set for two, and a view of the resort's buildings.

Steigenberger Resort Alaya - Adults Friendly 16 Years Plus

El Quseir

10/10 Excellent

Ali at front desk was exceptional. Lovely five star all inclusive resort, and unlike many Egypt Five Star ratings, this one was earned. Spacious, clean and well maintained, well worth the extra money vis a vis the adjacent JAZ resorts, even more luxurious and modern feeling than the other nearby Steigenberger Coraya resort which has a more clustered and rustic vibe, although closer to the sandy beach.

Yancy

A hotel with a large swimming pool, palm trees, and a thatched-roof structure.

Prima Life Makadi Hotel - All inclusive

Makadi Bay

10/10 Excellent

This is a fantastic resort property. The hotel and grounds are beautiful. The food and staff are fantastic. There were activities on the beach like volleyball and yoga. There is an onsite dive shop and an activity center that can book you for parasailing and snorkeling. I believe some of the reviews for this hotel said there is snorkeling right off the hotel beach, but I did not see any (it is a bay, not a coral reef). The only other negative is the resort area where this hotel is at is far away...

Steigenberger Pure Lifestyle - Adults Only

Al Mamsha El Seyahi

10/10 Excellent

Truly excellent place to stay, especially considering the price. Yes, it's a little more expensive than some other hotels you might stay in but for what you get (everything high-end, adults only, all-inclusive food and drink) it's really a bargain. Two small pieces of advice to the management: First, the wifi can be a bit slow at times in the rooms. Secondly, perhaps at check-in provide a map showing where all of the different restaurants and linked hotels are located. It can be pretty...
