"Beautiful property, horrible location - near district 6. When we checked in we had a drink at the bar to wait for our room. One of the hotel managers (in a blue sport coat) came over and went on a 30 minute rant about how unsafe Capetown was - and how unsafe the area around the hotel was and that we shouldn't walk around after dark. One night we ventured out for dinner (walking). When we returned a street security officer intercepted us on the way- told us how unsafe we were -and that he...

"A gorgeous hotel with personality, character and exceptional hospitality Gorgeous George was one of the highlights of our stay in Cape Town. This is a boutique hotel with a wonderful sense of personality, combining eclectic interiors, beautiful design and a genuinely welcoming atmosphere. What particularly impressed us was the attention to detail throughout the hotel. Every space felt thoughtfully designed, with distinctive furnishings, artwork and a character that sets it apart from more...

The room is somewhat basic but has most essentials, including a safe. The bathroom is stocked with towels and soap, and the shower has good water pressure. The location is fairly central if you want to explore Camps Bay, Table Mountain and Lion's head. There's lots of good bars and restaurants near...

"The hotel has an incredible view. We stayed in an oceanfront suite. Everything was absolutely beautiful."

Another concierge member walked to a restaurant to get my glasses after I forgot it there. Just so amazing each person I interacted with. The views are stunning from the room we had. Views of table mountain...
