"Location, location location. An historic place, located in a peninsula ((guess it was an island before), very close to the beach promenade. Luscious grounds and breathtaking views of the bay. The views from our window were spectacular.
Hotel is well kept. Staff is professional and corteous, a little dry on the front desk, but not so at the restaurant and bar, where the staff was always smiling and helpful. Very refreshing.
Our room was spacious and well appointed, with gorgeous views....

sadly the bar abd restaurant were closed when we were there (sunday and monday - as advertised so we did know in advance)

"Very clean property across the street from the beach. Parking is a short walk to a public lot with lots of spots during the week and none on the weekend. The bed was a bit soft and lacked support but other that that a great stay."
