"Booked this property particularly for the alleged pool that is mentioned twice in the info on Wotif. However there is no pool. Bed was not very comfortable, restaurant not open for Sunday dinner and in-room dining order seemingly went through, then after half an hour or so got an email saying the order had failed. Parking is a bit of a nightmare in the area with various construction. Pretty expensive given all these things."

"We were very impressed with the attention to detail in this hotel - our room had blackout blinds, usb port, soft and firm pillows and good products in large pump dispensers as well as the usual safe and fridge. The free breakfast was excellent, only little gripe, they could have done with extra staff in dining room over the weekend. Having said that the staff were all friendly and helpful, especially Linda on the front desk. "

"Lovely location near the beach. Rooms generally fine for a family (we were in a family room). Cleanliness was good but not excellent, rooms and shower. Breakfast was a disappointment for $30 although the kids eat free was a nice touch. Parking nearby on weekends is pretty good on the street. At the time of writing it's 2P but only Saturday morning 9am-12pm is enforced - meaning you can park virtually all weekend for free."

"We given a a mobilty accessable room .Floor tiles in bathroom slippery when wet.Dead bus in bathroom light fittings .Handbasin that low it hurt our backs. Pebbles on bedroom floor ,dusty skirting boards, bedroom door very difficult to open &close.Outside traffic very loud."

"Staff not friendly, room was average bathroom is tiny and looks like a portaloo toilet runs for 10 minutes after flushing beds smell and are lumpy not comfortable, coffee cups supplied needed to be washed before use, we took the stairs as the lift sounds like it’s going to break down and the mini fridge in the room was old and had broken shelves. The whole place needs to be renovated not worth $194 per night budget places are better "

"I have stayed here before and really enjoyed my stay. This time I felt it wasn’t as clean. During my stay I ordered some more toilet paper and clean towels using their app I never received them. "

"Fantastic views over Newcastle and South Newcastle beaches. Check in/out was smooth and the staff were friendly and helpful. Parking was provided at no extra cost. The rooms are extremely well maintained and serviced. Was the second time in 2 weeks we’ve stayed there. The property is close to restaurants along the Harbourside. "
