"We stayed at Grandi by Centre Hotels for 5 nights and from start to finish it was fantastic. The staff were super helpful and friendly and helped with any questions we had. The room was lovely. We had a balcony, no furniture but we made do with what we had. When we arrived to the room I was greeted with a note and a selection on mini cakes as it was my birthday- a nice touch. The spa was fab and relaxing. Breakfast had a great choice and staff were on hand to replenish when things were running low. The hotel location was within walking distance from the harbour and a few shops. Down town bars are within walking distance too. I would highly recommend this hotel and would like to thank all of the staff for making us feel so welcome."

"Finding lodging in Iceland isn't easy on a budget. So when I saw this "relatively" low priced guesthouse, I must say I wasn't expecting much. What a great surprise it was! It couldn't have been any cleaner. No carpets anywhere (carpets in hotels are rarely fresh and clean). It was extremely quiet. There was a balcony. My friend and I were in a room with a shared bathroom and there were only 3 rooms sharing the bathroom. Walking out the front door the big church is just a block away and in full view. We didn't communicate often with the staff but when we did they were extremely pleasant, helpful and accommodating. Everything that we'd wanted to see and do was within 5-15 minutes walk, so perfect location. If I'm ever back in Reykjavik I'll definitely be staying here and I would highly recommend it to anyone."
