The family and I enjoyed our stay, using the excellent BBQ to grill up some yummy food we enjoyed in the quiet countryside (aside from some adjacent fireworks). The home is lovely, with a great big TV and plenty of content to enjoy. Bed is comfy and the shower is great. I would definitely recommend and stay again.

Our stay was so perfect for our family. The house is beautifully decorated with Cajun charm. The hosts could not be friendlier, and everything provided was super clean and cozy. The pool and garden is gorgeous and the night sky is filled with stars. We can’t wait to visit again!

Janice and David were perfect host. Pool house was spacious and had everything you could possibly need. Extremely clean and comfortable. Is located in the country which is very peaceful but within 5 miles of restaurants. Has a beautiful pool area with well maintained flowers and yard.

We only had a few days for our Anniversary so we just went to near by Tabasco Plant and gardens and the RIP VAN WINKLE GARDENS.Janice and her husband were very accommodating and we were very impressed with how large and well stocked the place was .the pool is beautiful and the place is just precious.Hope to make it our annual anniversary get away , great place to unwind .Dennis and Donna

We absolutely enjoyed staying at the Cajun Getaway! The pool and pool house were just beautiful and very comfortable and stocked with so many things ot was so welcoming ! Loved this place! Wonderful pool all to ourselves. Every snack and food you would want, as well as great wine. To have a full size washer and dryer is so convenient. The only change I'd suggest would be to change the double bed to a queen size. Be sure to check out the owner's beautiful pottery.

Stop looking! You have found it! We can’t say enough about The Cajun Getaway and it’s host, Mrs. Janice. With perfect accommodations, beautiful landscaping (and pool), comfortable layout, and wonderfully secluded location… you will love it too. The home is very comfortable and beautifully decorated. The garden/pool area is lovely and relaxing. Janice and David are the perfect hosts; very warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived until we left. When everything you need, and more, is provided, what else is there to say? My family enjoyed the Cajun Getaway! The spacious house and large pool were amazing to relax and enjoy family time together. Stocked items in kitchen made it easy to enjoy a meal on site or cook healthy meals. Thank you for your thoughtfulness on this. Owners are around to help if need and are very friendly. 10 minutes or so from town to go shopping or see a movie. Looking forward to returning. You will love this property!

This property was the PERFECT location for a girls get away weekend. The pool was beautiful. The property was secluded, and Ms. Janice and Mr. David were great hosts. The fridge was stocked with eggs, bacon, milk, OJ, etc. I've rented a lot of properties from VRBO, and I've never experienced that before. I will return and tell all of my friends.

Beautiful home and a wonderful place to stay. The property manager was accommodating and a pleasure to speak with. Everything about the home was clean and the pool and property were very well kept. There was even a quant area with hammock, swings and garden lights to enjoy. The freshly stocked fridge and pantry with all the dishes and cooking supplies needed made our stay easy and convenient. We even got to enjoy a family dinner poolside and my kids loved it. Highly recommend this home and plan to return in the future. Thanks again!
