Parking was easy and reasonably priced, which made the stay even more convenient. The location was ideal too—close to the tram and great shopping at the Trafford Centre . "Pretty unclean, bed sheets had marks on them, walls were all marked. Mattress was hard and pillows flat. The hotel bit of the building is not secure from the rest of the building so didn't feel very safe. Hallways also smelt strongly of smoke and reception required going down a flight of stairs with my suitcase. I ended up leaving and going elsewhere."

"The house was under refurbishment and new ownership but this did not affect my stay at all. It is well placed for trams and rail links, and main roads. I was able to travel in from Chester area and around South Manchester without going into the centre of town. Lovely walks along the Bridgewater Canal and plenty of places to get a bit of shopping nearby. Very comfortable and well furnished, reasonably priced, a welcome change from hotel chains with no individual character. Would recommend."
