"Incredible stay at The Empress. The staff could not be more warm, welcoming, and accommodating. Beautiful inside and out with many places to relax and enjoy everything it has to offer. Clean and superbly decorated and maintained. Excellent food, drinks and service at the raw bar and in the Bengal restaurant with other opportunities on the outdoor dining decks and tea room. We will be back for more!"

"I was not expecting such a beautiful old house. There was no TV in the bedroom or fridge or anything like that, but it honestly wasn't needed. This is an experience, not just an accommodation. I was only here for one night but I loved it so much and hope to return soon. Check in was little confusing as there is no front desk, but nothing I couldn't figure out."
