"The room was not the biggest but definitely big enough for 2 people with a king bed and chair/ottoman/desk. It was very clean and the staff was exceptionally nice from front desk, to housekeeping, to restaurant/bar staff. It was in a great location for walking to many Lincoln sites. We felt safe in the area. I'd go there again."

"Excellent breakfast with plenty of delicious protein. Very clean room, the front desk gentleman, Robert was amazingly patient as we had plenty of issues with our reservation thanks to Expedia. He finally was able to determine the problem Expedia was causing with the payment being transferred. He is definitely a five star employee!"

"Such a cool house with large bedrooms and lots of windows. The host did everything possible to make our stay enjoyable. The air conditioner died just before we arrived, but multiple potable ac units and lots of fans kept us cool. Central location made it easy to get around - even within walking distance of a beautiful Frank Lloyd Wright house! Kitchen supplies are a little parse if planning to make complex meals. Would definitely come back and plan to check out their other historic homes."

"I had a three night visit with my two sons and dogs. The house was spotless and the photos in the listing accurate. If anything, the house looked much better IRL than the photos. Beds were great with the softest linens I ever had in a VBRO rental.Neighborhood felt very safe. Lots of trees in the neighborhood. My boys took daily walks to the beautiful nearby park. We made a lot of use of the peaceful back patio, an excellent place for coffee and reading. It seemed like any where we wanted to go - restaurants, Lincoln museum, Dana Thomas house, bookstores - all were just 10-15 minutes away When we had questions, the hosts were always quick to respond. I highly recommend this property and hope to come back someday."

"When we arrived at the place, we thought it wasn't it because it looked neglected. Overgrown bushes, lawn not mowed and a large cardboard box on the front porch. Totally different from the picture presented on the site. The inside was clean except for the cushioned chairs around the table. Plenty of towels supplied.The light in the kitchen apparently had been broken before and was taped. The smoke alarm in the one bedroom was hanging from the ceiling and the flooring inside the front door had been broken and tape applied. The location was good. We have stayed at other places but it seems the cost didnt match the condition of the property."
