"Four ladies and a dog! We converged from Alaska, Colorado, Montana and South Carolina for a trip to explore and experience Tennessee. We picked a great place to just be and to travel out and explore from. We hiked a couple trails close to the house. Gold Mine Trail and Look Rock. We took a day trip to Townsend and the Tuckaleechee Caverns. It was an awesome tour and we really enjoyed the people at the Little River Pub and Deli! If you are a quilter stop in and see the Twisted Sisters Quilt Shop and Mountain Creek Quilt Shop in Maryville. The cabin has lots of room, super comfy, and has all you need to cook up meals. The firepit and the hot tub were a great place to sit and reminisce our well grown friendships!"

"We really enjoyed our one night stay here. The lodge is located in a beautiful wooded area with a trickling water feature below and Mountain Views. The bed was super comfortable and the breakfast was delicious! Although there are no staff on site, they assisted me to retrieve something I left there. They couldn’t be more helpful! Overall, I highly recommend this small, unique lodge."

"There were three adults in our party and we stayed four nights. We came to the area to ride The Tail of The Dragon. This property is in a great location with easy access o TOTD. We had plenty of room for a large truck and a 12’ trailer and also use of the garage to put our bikes away at night. It is in a fairly secluded and very quiet location on the TN side of the Dragon. You will also see wildlife roaming the property. We saw turkey and deer. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed in kitchen and bath. Also the checkin and checkout process were both very simple.We appreciated the host checking on us the first morning we were there. All in all I’d say I would come right back if in that area again."

"The rooms were very clean & kitchen was well stocked. Host left homemade cookies for us on the bar to welcome us & owners had coffee pods, creamer & sugar ready for morning coffee. Host was available when TV remote wouldn’t work and was quick to fix the problem. Beds slept wonderful!!! We will be back to stay here!"

"Our trip began with difficulty, as we were provided with the wrong key code upon arrival. Resolving this issue took approximately an hour, delaying our entry into the cabin.Inside, the cabin was nice and clean, which we appreciated. However, the beds were extremely uncomfortable, the pillows were super thin, prompting my husband and me to sleep together on the couch instead. On our last night, the temperature dropped into the low 40s outside, but neither the mini-split system nor the propane heater provided any heat. By morning, the cabin temperature had fallen to the mid 50s, making for an unpleasantly cold experience.The exterior of the property appeared neglected and abandoned. The screen porch could not be used because the door handle was broken, further limiting our enjoyment of the outdoor space.Additionally, we had no access to the lake during our stay, as the host had not purchased the necessary yearly pass for guests. Lakefront homeowners appear to have an opposition to renters when it comes to lake access.Communication with the host was nonexistent. I am still waiting for responses to three messages regarding check-in, check-out protocol, and the heating situation, all of which remain unanswered."

"The size and layout were great, but TVs were not good elevated height made remote useless. Games in basement air hockey & electric pinballs did not work. Only 10 towels for a ten person cabin. We never expect food but no salt and pepper seemed cheap. Space parking as well. "
