"Didn't have breakfast there. Even the Holiday Inn Express offers free breakfast! Entering the room, the complete air conditioner cover was laying on the floor. Like someone worked on it and never put it back. The desk clerk went there to put it back on. Not a good first impression."

"The place smells like a cigarette. Everything in the room smelt like it. The bathmat was stained and ripped. Beds and pillows were awful."

"Initially We were assigned to room 206. The room was clean and nice; however, the shower stall was a disaster. We noticed and phographed black mold at the bottom of one of the walls. The next day we informed the front desk. They apologized and promptly moved us to another room- 326. Unfortunately, the shower stall in room 326 also has a black mold issue, albeit not quite as obvious as room 206. The mold is located at the bottom of the stationary panel. Therefore, we did not see it right away. We photographed it and showed to the front desk."

"Front Desk was super nice in changing our room to the first floor. Only bad thing was some people were smoking weed outside and it's a very strong smell. "

"I reserved a 1 bedroom with fireplace room two weeks ahead of my stay . When I arrived on that wednesday April 29 I was told someone was staying over and I could not have the room I reserved. I was given a choice of a suite with a King Bed or a 1 bedroom with two tv's. I arrived at 10 so I chose the 1 bedroom since I had a meeting at 9 AM. So I paid extra for a room I did not get. Everything else was average or poor. "

"Not the worst but not the best! I had to contact host to receive the check in information. It was supposed to be sent but they forgot. The listing states a washer and dryer. This is located outside of the property and accessed by a separate entrance. When we checked in we were not not given 4 towels and 2 wash cloths. I tried to contact the property manager, however, they never responded to me. I had to go to Walmart and purchase additional towels and washcloths for my entire party, which was listed as six on my reservation. On Wednesday of our trip the downstairs tenant stopped us and explained how to access the washer and where I could find additional towels and washcloths. I checked in the previous Sunday. The listing states that it is a close commute to Washington DC, however, it is about a 45 minute drive into Washington DC every day if you are not in rush-hour. If you are looking at this rental for a trip to visit Washington DC, you will need to drive in as there is no public transportation easily accessible from this rental."
