"Really disappointed with this property to be honest. Stayed for 1 night with our daughters for a treat after they had been competing in a gymnastic competition close by. Receptionist had our booking wrong on arrival and only gave us 1 room instead of 2. The rooms were meant to be 2 x suites, but they just gave us 1 x suite and 1 x normal room. Told that if we wanted to use the swimming pool that would be an extra £20 per person, didn't see any mention of that on the booking info or hotel info page. We also booked a table at 8:30pm in the golf clubhouse restaurant for dinner. When we got there we were told it it would be over an hour wait for food as they had a party of 32 in. Ended up having to order KFC on deliveroo to eat in the room as was tool late to then eat in the other restaurant. On paper this should have been a really nice nights stay, but wish we hadn't bothered."

"Great approachable staff with very well appointed clean rooms with high standard of bathroom cleanliness and powerful shower too. Excellently positioned for variety of restaurants and nearby to main railway line to London. "

"Lovely welcome at the hotel, booked an executive double which was at the back of the hotel looking over the gardens. WiFi connection strong enough for video calls and work online meetings. Had a meal on the first night which was fine, basic food. Didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment. Chargeable car parking. All staff were friendly and helpful. Comfortable two night stay"

"I stay here 3 times a year on business. The staff are friendly and the bar/ restaurant area is pleasant with good food. Unfortunately the rooms themselves are poorly maintained and in need of a lot of TLC. Layouts are quite random too!"
