A very authentic pub with a hotel upstairs. Food was top notch and very creative. Great breakfast. What stood out was the people - everyone we encountered working at the establishment went out of there way to make sure we were having a great stay. The proximity to the train staion was perfect - just across the street.

We had an excellent stay at The Grand Brighton and found the room, restaurant, bar, and staff services to be exceptional. The location was fabulous offering convenient access to surrounding areas and a gorgeous view of the ocean. On the last night of our stay, the battery on our keypad failed (along with a few other rooms), and we were not able to get into our room for several hours. However, the staff handled the incident with care and did all they could to make the situation right for us. We...

Beautiful location, great staff and accommodations, wonderful breakfast with lots of choices. Loved the green juice! Easy walk to nearby small village with a high end provisions store and a restaurant the Black Horse. If not driving good access to taxi services and limited uber.

Beautiful hotel with excellent amenities and attention to detail. Attentive, lowkey staffing. The comfiest bed and lovely linens, with powerful aircon. I have no notes! Would absolutely stay here again. Food was great, too. Pricey but absolutely worth it.

Really nice views of the marina from the front rooms. Nice breakfast selection in a relaxed atmosphere. The bathroom doors have been changed recently and are much better than before with the sliding doors. Overall highly recommended for a relaxing stay if you want to be by the marina. The Undercliff walk is a really scenic good walk not too far from the hotel through Asda’s car park also

Richard & Mark were the perfect hosts! They met us with a warm welcome & made us feel like we were guests in their home. The beach house was perfectly clean and their breakfast was a "Proper English Breakfast." The Seaside path was within walking distance and the view was spectacular. Whenever we asked suggestions for restaurants they were always accommodating. They made us feel like their extended family! I loved it! The room was gorgeous, spacious and just right for my sister and I on my birthday eve. Breakfast was great and I am pleased. I didn’t realise it was above a pub but that wasn’t a problem. Free parking and 10mins drive to city centre.
The AC in the room wasn’t functional but there was a back up fan that helped somewhat.
