"The host was extremely helpful when we needed help and even made a call for us to help with train ticket issues since we do not speak Portuguese well enough. He also sent maps on how to get to a few places. Again very convenient and helpful. I will say it is a little bit of a drive to get to a grocery store. There were some ants and flies but you are next to a farmer’s field and in the countryside so it is normal and to be expected. I would definitely return there and recommend it if you find...

"Bartender was intelligent, well spoken, and kind. All the staff we dealt with were polite and spoke excellent english (this is not an expectation, just a nice extra). Room was fine. The shower is an older style and using it without putting water all over the bathroom was a challenge for tall people. The mattresses were pretty hard, but not unbearable."
