"Breakfast"

"The room was comfortable and generally well maintained, but unfortunately the cleanliness of the in-room amenities was disappointing. The coffee mugs were not properly cleaned, and the electric kettle had significant limescale buildup, which came out every time we tried to heat water. We requested a replacement kettle at night, and while it was slightly better, it still had similar limescale issues. For a brand like DoubleTree, we were expecting a higher standard of attention to detail. Overall the stay was okay, but better maintenance and cleaning of basic room facilities would greatly improve the guest experience."

"Had booked a cosy room, very compact. Iron had a crack in I, so when I went to use it, the water leaked all over my clothes. Staff great, but room a bit tired underneath the surface; if you’re a light sleeper be aware you can hear anything & everything from the neighbouring rooms"

"Small, clean room which is perfectly adequate for a quick stay. Extremely overpriced Starbucks in the foyer, average breakfast and gym pool that was far too busy and full of posing gym bros. Access to the gym and pool should be free for hotel customers as should the parking."

"Stayed in Bristol loads last few years at several hotels, but without doubt this one has the friendliest and nicest staff. "

"Clean and warm"

"The stay was okay, but when checking out we had an incident where when returned a few minutes after checkout our key cards were no longer which was to be expected. So we went to front desk to ask for the keys to be enabled so we could get our luggage and bags. When we were told that they had no record of us being there and the room was showing as empty. We told them that’s not possible we had been there the past 2 nights and we needed to get to the train station as soon as possible. I get there are policies and protocols they will have to follow but the lack of concern or critical thinking to help us resulted in missing our train and having to pay £90 for another train. It turned a decent stay into a very stressful trip. "
