"This was an amazing rental. The house is quite large with 3 bedrooms and a bath upstairs and a large living are on the main level. It was very well equipped for dining in and everything was in working order. There is a beautiful large terrace facing the ocean where you can also relax and eat. The beach is only a 2 minute walk and the host even provided beach towels. The location is good but expect to do some traveling to the popular sight seeing areas. The island is small enough though to get around easily. We loved our stay at this beautiful home. "

"This is one of the most beautiful hotel locations we have ever stayed in. Melded with beautiful gardens and geothermal soaking pools that were open only to guests after 5 pm was magical. Our room was huge, the breakfast was amazing and we had one meal in the main restaurant and one more causal dinner at the outside bar. Both were delicious and reasonably priced with staff that were so friendly and enjoyable. We rarely plan to visit a country twice, too many places to see, but we would come back to this hotel in Furnas at some point if we could. "

"Clean room, parking, great breakfast-hard boiled eggs, fruit, coffee Americano. Mattress was too firm but that’s just my opinion. Great stay! "

"From the moment you arrive at Furnas Lake Forest Living, you feel a sense of calm. The reception was easy to find and we received a very warm welcome and explanation of the property, then were guided to our house. It was a very personal experience and I appreciated the attentiveness of the staff. The houses are secure, quiet, immaculately clean, and situated in a stunning forested area. There are even koi fish in the moat around the houses. All of the finishings were thoughtful and on brand for the location. We were able to enjoy the a la carte breakfast prior to checking out, and it was both delicious and satisfying. I'm very sad that we were unable to secure a reservation for dinner due to a conflicting reservation, but that just means we are due for a trip back! They are working on a spa and additional houses, which will make an already spectacular experience even better, I'm sure. Obrigada for making us feel right at home during our short stay. Can't wait to visit again (for longer this time)."

"Such a beautiful location right on the water. With stunning views of the coast and a black sand beach within walking distance, this hotel was the perfect start to my first time visiting the Azores. Staff was excellent. Pool was wonderful as well as location. "

"Only issue would be the signage for people coming to the hotel, should have better directions on the sign out front to direct travellers to the parking area."

"Initially the name of the place raised some concern. However, entry into the house reveals this is no ordinary hotel. It is exquisitely designed, with spectacular spaces, a marvelous pool and great staff. So, I give high marks for what is truly a charming house."
