"Apartment was in a great location and the check in process was easy. The apartment was a bit tighter than expected with little area to spread out your suitcases. There was quite a bit of mold on the shower/tub. Over-all was a great stay."

"The views from this apartment are incredible! Hosts were super friendly and generous. We loved our stay here! It does get a little warm inside to sleep (we visited in August) we asked for a second fan which they brought. Super quick walk to a beautiful sandy beach! "This is a lovely hotel that feels luxurious and has the most beautiful views of the ocean. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet is to die for. So much delicious food to choose from! The rooms are spacious and have everything needed. They are also very quiet and dark, ensuring a good night's sleep. Children loved the two swimming pools. The only, very minor, note is that some of the decor had small nicks, rips and scratches that you wouldn't expect to see in such a nice hotel, but this in no way detracts from the overall lovely experience. "

"Great experience all round. We started our honeymoon here before continuing to Ponta delgada. Wish we spent more time here! Staff very friendly and attentive. Loved the premises, pools and sauna. Unfortunately could not get any treatments at the spa - you need to book before you come :( did not know that."

"Difficile d'avoir une plus belle vue à partir de sa chambre d'hôtel! La chambre est grande, la salle de bain aussi et tout est bien pensé. Il y a un plus très joli balcon pour pouvoir assister au lever du soleil. La salle à manger est également orientée vers la mer. Le petit-déjeuner est varié et très bon. "

"Everything about it was absolutely great. Our unit was spacious, clean and comfortable. The outside facilities as the pools, hot tub were perfect. The private garden couldn't be emphasized enough. What a privilege to stroll through your private forest, so well kept with a river running through it, absolutely magical. The owners are great, very helpful, attentive and super friendly. We will recommend Canto's to anyone we know coming to Sao Miguel."
