"The property was very warm and welcoming after a long day of travel.We opened the windows in our room to a stunning uninterrupted view of the lake.... Breathtaking!! Food is plentiful for breakfast and everything is so clean. The restaurant below provided excellent homemade Italian food at a very reasonable price. Highly recommend. "The hotel/guesthouse is easily reached from the centre of Milan by metro followed by a short walk (past a nice bakery). Il Girasole looks unconventional, being a converted factory building. A nice courtyard is hidden behind a metal entrance door. Matteo and his brother are extremely nice hosts, who can provide enthusiastic advice on sightseeing in Milan. Our room was one of the two behind the courtyard which, unfortunately, the WiFi signal from the main building didn't reach - but was fine if...
