"Check in was a bit confusing as there was no specific check in or reception counter. Luckily we came just before 7pm as a staff seems to be leaving and got us checked in. Room was small but adequate and also had a kitchenette and balcony with nice view to the sea. Breakfast was also adequate with some homemade pastries. Cheaper than Fira and Oia by a long way and the view is just as good over the Caldera - maybe better (the islands are closer)."

"We had an absolutely amazing stay at Hotel Akrotiri! The staff were all so friendly and helpful. The room was amazing - clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The property is gorgeous and the restaurant had great food. The breakfast was also incredible. A short walk up the hill will bring you to the bus stop which is easy to navigate, and you can also access Red Beach. The views are unbelievable. The food at the Edge restaurant was AMAZING. I can go on and on. I will always come back to this place!"

The breakfast is brought on a tray when you head down to the breakfast area and we really liked how the selections made for you were slightly different each day. Lovely way to start the morning.
