Rose Park Hotel Al Barsha

8/10 Good

"The building seems a bit tired, but the rooms appear to be in the process of renovation, and both the hotel and our suite were extremely clean. The shower was fantastic with great pressure, and the bed was supremely comfortable. There was a slight issue with our booking but it was promptly sorted out with no further issues. Also, the pool on the roof is a great place to cool down! The staff were very helpful, and Mustafa (sorry if we misremembered your name!) always had a smile and advice about the local area & activities. He also provided us with gold Nol cards to borrow during our stay, all we had to do was top them up to travel on the Metro which saved us money overall to travel in comfort. The breakfast staff were lovely...one lady remembered us by the end of the week, and the wide ranging breakfast buffet offerings varied from day to day which was great. The hotel is very conveniently located across the road from the Insurance Market Metro station, with plenty of great places to eat & drink within 5-10mins travel on foot. Can highly recommend Kapadokya Turkish Kitchen next door for eating out, spectacular food and great service, Grind Me Fine Coffee Shop is within a 10min walk, which has superb coffee and fresh, zingy chilled drinks. A Karak Chai from Hot Shay along the road is well worth experiencing too! Overall, a very positive experience and I would have no qualms about staying at the Rose Park Hotel again. Thanks very much for making our stay comfortable!"
