"We were picked up from the airport by the owner. His wife was waiting at the apartment with fresh linens, stocked kitchen, coffee, toast, jam and many resource guides with suggestions of where to go and the best way to get there. Everything worked beautifully. Plenty of hot water, fresh air, and the temperature always perfect. We felt very safe at all times and enjoyed the ease of walking most places. "What a wonderful little apartment in the heart of Palermo! We were really impressed with how close this place was to the Balaro market as well as Via Maqueda. Massimo was a wonderful host and the kitchen is well equipped - we made a nice pot of soup with veggies from the market! The beds are large, which is harder to find in Italy.
