His wife was waiting at the apartment with fresh linens, stocked kitchen, coffee, toast, jam and many resource guides with suggestions of where to go and the best way to get there. "What a wonderful little apartment in the heart of Palermo! We were really impressed with how close this place was to the Balaro market as well as Via Maqueda. Massimo was a wonderful host and the kitchen is well equipped - we made a nice pot of soup with veggies from the market! The beds are large, which is harder to find in Italy. We’d definitely stay here again! "

"Massimo is a charming and helpful host, the apartment is just lovely, and very well equipped. The little terrace high above the pedestrian street is great for hanging out. The only possible caveat is the stairs to the fourth floor - but so worth the climb! We loved it and would definitely stay there again if we were going to Palermo!"
