"Initially difficult to find but upon arrival was close to many things. Nothing within walking distance but short drive to downtown area. The rooms were clean but the AC unit was only downstairs and was not enough to cool the rooms upstairs. "

You can use their bikes to explore this, I believe 45 ha, property and the restaurant will pack you a picknick basket. Pool was clean and very cold water a plus in the Italien heat. The room just beautiful and cozy. After all the tiny showers we've had in Italy this big bathroom and bath tub was a welcome sight. This was a palace. We will go back.
