"Great location in the heart of Winchcombe but tucked away and private. A well equipped cottage with washing machine and dishwasher, lovely big bed, comfortable lounge and a courtyard garden. There was a somw noise from the pub garden two doors down, particularly when they had a live band on, but it didnt go on too late. The bath was one of those with an accessible door on it so you can walk in and a hoist which made it a little strange , but shower was fine. Great stay. Will stay again."

"The cottage is in an excellent location - very convenient for walking into the centre of Broadway, with a great choice of cafés, bakeries and bars along the way!
It was very clean and well equipped. Check-in was very straightforward, and the instructions very clear. We benefitted from beautiful weather during our stay, so were able to use the outside tables and chairs for all our meals."

"I booked this apartment for my family of 4 on the day and because we were so caught up in our trip we forgot to notify the host. We arrived in the evening and despite us not having given them a heads up first, the apartment was sorted and in impeccable state. The bed was extremely comfortable, kitch and bathroom very clean. Very happy with our overnight stay, would highly recommend.l"

"Ours was a five night stay in The Old Paper Shop. Located on a busy road however night time noise was minimal. Once our car was parked we could walk everywhere for shopping, drinks at the pub and visiting the sites. Very comfortable bed and wonderful shower (great after a hard days walking). Kitchen was very well equipped. The key safe check in process was easy and efficient. Very much an old world charmer with lots of character, which was as I expected, cosy but perfect for two. Definitely...

"The location of this hotel is wonderful.
Gardens directly infront, and town and amenities all close by.
The food was excellent, and the outside eating terrace was a lovely area.
Some of the outside furniture is in need of replacing though.
Some staff were more welcoming and pleasant than others. And as is often the case, there were occasions when the hotel seemed short staffed.
Overall, we were happy with this hotel and would be happy to stay again."
"The room is a little dated but very comfortable. I would stay here again. It is close enough for a short walk to most of the things you may want to see in town. The bar is good as well."
"Despite the incredibly hot weather and lack of aircon (due to the age of the beautiful building) our room was wonderfully cool.
The lady on reception was so personable, polite and friendly, a joy to deal with.
Perfect for visiting friends in Stratton Court Village."
"Fantastic hotel. Reception area were like being abroad and has a lovely smell. Nice room clean comfortable. Breakfast was great lots of choice and good quality. Had drinks outside both nights such a lovely setting
Would stay again. Very close to town centre"
"Room was lovely, nice and cool in the heat of summer. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was very nice. Check in process was smooth, parking was fairly limited but we got lucky.
Great place to stay in Stratford"
"The staff were friendly and helpful when it came to places to visit nearby.
The continental breakfast was lovely and the 2 course dinner was good value for money.
The swimming pool, sauna and steam were well
maintained however our room needed a few repairs and the towels had seen better days.
We would give it an 8/10"
"A tastefully developed pub with ample rooms, stylish appearance and appealing atmosphere. Dinner was a little disappointing (had the buttermilk chicken burger) which felt as if it had been pre-prepared/defrosted and reheated. May have just been an unlucky experience as generally the food reviews are very good and the breakfast was truly excellent and very fresh. Husband's burger was good. Staff very pleasant. We had a waterside suite which looked over the cricket pitch at the back so was quiet. Used it as a base to start the Thames Path walk at its source near Kemble."
