"We were so happy with the entire stay. The host was very friendly and helpful. The apartment was clean and well maintained. The area is excellent close to trails, tourist attractions and city. We recommend to have a car. Overall we had an excellent experience. "

"We visited the area for a week in July 2023. The location is amazing: within walking distance from the cable car and beautiful hikes in the valley, a short drive to other cable cars, and only 1.25-1.5 hours away from Zermatt by car. The apartment was perfect for us and very large (we are a family of four). It is super-clean, extremely well-equipped, and is both cozy and spacious. We had an issue with arriving very late at night due to massive airport delays and road constructions on the way, but...

"Tolle Aussicht!"

"Wir haben eine sehr schöne Woche in Grengiols verbracht und haben uns sehr gut erholt. Die Wohnung liegt mitten im Ort, ist aber trotzdem ruhig und sehr gut ausgestattet. Bei Anreise mit dem Zug muss man berücksichtigen, dass der Bahnhof ein ganzes Stück unterhalb des Ortes liegt. Der Weg ist aber auch mit Gepäck machbar. Im Dorfladen gegenüber gibt es sogar frische Brötchen und auch sonst eigentlich alles für den täglichen Bedarf. Wir kommen gerne wieder!"

"Leuk appartement, voor 2 personen, genoeg ruimte, alles aanwezig. Terras buiten met bankje en tafel. Mooi uitzicht! Kleine kanttekening; neem niet teveel spullen mee. Kan niet met de auto tot de appartementen, even sjouwwerk om alles in het huisje te krijgen. Fijn dat de auto in de garage kon."

"Wir haben unseren spontanen Urlaub im Wallis sehr genossen. Die Wohnung bot uns als Familie ausreichend Platz und die Atmosphäre war sehr entspannend. Anstelle des Weckers lud uns das Kirchengeläut zur Tagwache, um ins nahegelegene Skigebiet zu gehen. Danke für die Gastfreundschaft."

"Die Wohnung, vor allem die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Es fehlt ein Sofa, auf dem man abends gemütlich sitzen und lesen oder TV schauen kann. Das vorhandene (zum Bett umbaubare) Sofa ist sehr unkomfortabel, steht in der Küche und und eignet sich nicht um darauf zu sitzen. Insgesamt fehlt eine gemütliche, bequeme Sitzecke. In der Dusche fehlt eine Ablage für Seife, Shampoo, etc."

Wanderwege vor Ort sind fantastisch."

"In general ok. Pros and cons come below: Pros Well equipped with kitchen stuff (but basic products like sugar). Plenty of bed linen. Toys and books available. Well placed. Cons: Shower curtains didn't do their job. Lack of toilet paper. Upon our arrival we found the keys out of the locker. Well placed."

Absolutely fantastic

"It was absolutely amazing. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The food was excellent and the rooms were beautiful and very comfortable. The hotel itself was directly across from the ski lift, so we were on the slopes within minutes. We thoroughly enjoyed the extensive & beautiful Wellness area and wish we could’ve extended our stay. "

Well equipped apartment with a beautiful view

"The apartment is as described and has all that is needed for cooking relaxing, et cetera The first floor has a beautiful view over the valley. We ate often on the terrace to enjoy the view. The living room has a beautiful light in the afternoon. The residence is rather quiet The charming village of Ernen is only a few minutes away walking. All excursions are very conveniently reachable by car or by walking to the village and in the surroundings. There is a road with some traffic just behind the building But it did not prevent us from having a good sleep. "
